Celebrity Appearances
Eve co-stars opposite Adam (or is it opposite Satan?) in Paradise Lost, "the greatest poem in English". The fantastic Joan Osborne's rather sexy song Lumina is a celebration of Eve's desire for Adam. Eve pre-enacts the battle of the sexes in Mark Twain's The Diary of Adam and Eve. Anne Baxter played Eve in the 1950 film, All About Eve, though she was not entirely the same Eve as the one in the Bible. The real Eve appeared on the big screen - though rather modestly - in the 1974 extravaganza, Bible!
