The health of the Ark's Tyrannosaurus Rex continued to deteriorate today, as the arkmates wondered how they could help.
In front of the ailing Allosaur, Paul and Martha discussed what could be done. "He looks how Simon was looking the day he spewed everywhere," observed Paul, only to be told by Martha, "actually, he looks worse."
While Martha worked on medication and Paul led healing prayers, the others speculated on what could be done. "It's dying," said Esther. "It hasn't been fed enough... or maybe it's giving birth."
"It doesn't look hopeful," agreed John the Baptist.
The most poignant moment of the evening came from Samson, who, after the others headed up to the living room for the announcement of who would face the plank, asked God if, assuming he survived the vote, the cage could be opened and he would be allowed to deliver hands-on aid to the sick saurian.
While God said that he certainly would be allowed, Samson won't ever get the chance to help the dinosaur, since only a few minutes after that conversation, Samson walked the plank.
