Today, the Ark's living room was transformed into a theatre, as, under the direction of John and the stage management of the Ark Angel Gabriel, the arkmates performed a truly original version of classic love story Romeo and Juliet.
Martha gave a brooding performance as the troubled hero Romeo, while Paul's rendition of Juliet proved a... well, it's fair to say it was a revelation. The other arkmates gave solid performances as the supporting cast, with Gabriel taking on the role of the narrator.
Highlights included the Jezebel as Tybalt and Esther's Mercutio performing their fight scene using some spectacular kung-fu moves, and Samson's sympathetic performance as the Nurse.
