The arkmates goggled in amazement today, as Esther revealed that she's been practising kung-fu in secret. Showing off an amazing crane-style kung- fu move last seen used by leather-clad sci-fi babe Trinity in blockbuster The Matrix, Esther turned (and broke) heads as she soared in the air.
One of the most amazing aspects of Esther's new move is the way she manages to do a bullet-time kung-fu high kick in that little pink dress and yet still remain decent. Hopes that Esther might have a costume like the one in the Matrix have been called by an Ark insider [note: as in, me] "unrealistic".
Esther's kung fu sparring partner has been Jezebel, it appears, who's got a few choice moves of her own. Meanwhile, the other arkmates, no doubt benefitting from the space, have also begun to express themselves in new and interesting ways. Samson's exercise regime has paid off, allowing him to flex with the best of them; and John the Baptist has developed disco dance moves that would make John Travolta blanch with envy.
Paul, meanwhile, continuing his rediscovery of his inner child, has found the simple pleasures of jumping up and down on beds.
Martha, on the other hand, has been in a somewhat pensive state recently, and can be seen around the Ark with her chin in her hands staring into space.
